Designing a Compressible Bluetooth Speaker
Wireless audio speakers continue improving thanks to modern technology. The battery-powered transistor radios of years ago were a precursor to the digital speakers that offer more features of interest to a new generation of consumers.
Wireless speakers promise all the same benefits as traditional ones, with an added flexibility that helps you connect to the world of digital and Internet audio. Whether you want to play .mp3 files from your music collection without having to wear headphones, stream podcasts over the Internet, or simply configure your smartphone to use a louder speaker, these devices can do the job.
Bluetooth speakers have become popular as companion devices to smartphones and tablets. By pushing a button, these units can be paired - connected by short-range link - with a Bluetooth-enabled host device through which audio playback or streaming can start. Designed for portability, these speakers typically run on battery power and are smaller than other kinds of speakers
Although it's design has continued to grow and change,The problem with Bluetooth Speakers are not being compact, as the sound volume of the device increases their size increases.
So, To overcome this problem i have designed a compact Bluetooth Speaker which can be fold-able by using a silicone rubber which is easily compressible.

How is it Fold-Able ?
When Compressed the extruded squares on silicon rubber padding joins one another and provide a complete surface which can be folded. The silicon rubber then takes the shape of Speaker void provided as shown in the second image so that it can be completely folded and can be made compact.The rim of the end speakers are magnetic. So when you push the speaker it locks and stays closed until opened.
What are it features ?
1. Extra Sound Volume Whenever Needed.
When in requirement of Extra sound volume just pull out the speaker to expose the silicone padding, when opened the connection for speaker underneath the silicone rubber padding is made close and the speaker starts playing sound. The speaker holes are provided on the groove of silicone padding such that the sound is equally distributed.
2. Compact and Easy to Carry
Now there is no need to carry bulky speakers in your backpack for more sound volume. Carry this compact speaker and when need of extra volume just open it up. It's Silicone padding and the speaker underneath it will give you extra sound and bass which you needed.
3. Aesthetically Pleasing
The Bluetooth Speaker is extremely aesthetically pleasing and it's Silicone padding will want you to play your music even more.
